STYLE No. 8138: CLASSIC MOC
The 8138 is an ankle-high moccasin made from high-quality Briar Oil Slick leather, featuring a white Traction Tred rubber sole and piped stitching.
THE STORY BEHIND THE STYLE
The Classic Moc was designed to create a shoe capable of withstanding the daily rigors of farm and factory work. The lightweight crepe sole has a minimal tread pattern to minimize the amount of mud and dirt that sticks to it, and thanks to its flexibility and cushioning, it provides the comfort required for a full day’s work. Red Wing named this sole the Traction Tred. These classic boots feature a moccasin-toe design. The name comes from the word “moccasin,” the Algonquian word for shoe. The combination of the U-shaped moccasin-toe leather upper and the white crepe sole has become Red Wing’s signature style. It is one of Red Wing’s oldest styles and a best-seller.
EQUIPMENT
S.B. Foot Tanning Co. is known for its oil-tanned leather, which is used in many of Red Wing’s timeless styles. This leather is resistant to water, dirt, and sweat, and has a more natural appearance than many other leathers because fewer finishing materials are required. Oil-tanned leather is exceptionally durable and resilient and has been used in countless shoes throughout Red Wing’s 100-year history.

SIZING AND BREAKING IN SHOES
A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit snugly but comfortably on your feet, with enough room for your toes to move freely. Red Wing boots run large, so most customers buy them half a size smaller than their other shoes.
Over time, the leather upper, the leather insole, and the cork midsole will mold to the shape of your foot, creating a custom fit.
EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE
Sturdy soles, premium leather, triple stitching, and Goodyear welt construction combine to create high-quality shoes that will last a lifetime. It takes 230 steps to handcraft a pair of Red Wing shoes, but it only takes three steps to keep them clean, well-maintained, and protected.

Free priority shipping on orders over SFr. 100. Orders are typically shipped the same day or the next business day (if ordered after 3 p.m.). Excludes Mondays (our day off).
We ship packages internationally via UPS. The total price, including shipping costs, customs duties, and VAT, will be displayed during the final step of the checkout process before you complete your purchase. All fees are already paid here in the store; nothing is due upon delivery (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid).
You can return most items for a full refund within 14 days of delivery. The prerequisite is that the items are returned in new condition (i.e., unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached, etc.). We will cover the return shipping costs if the return is due to an error on our part (you received the wrong item or a defective item, etc.).
You can expect to receive your refund within one to two weeks after the package is delivered to the post office/UPS, but in many cases, it will be faster. This timeframe includes the time it takes for us to receive your return from the carrier (1–3 business days), the time it takes for us to process your return after receipt (1 business day), and the time your bank, credit card company, Postfinance, Twint, etc., need to process our refund request (immediately up to 10 business days).
If you wish to return an item, please indicate whether you would like a refund or an exchange.
All items available for order are generally in stock and can be shipped immediately. If there are any errors, you will be notified right away.
Most, but not all, of the items featured in the online store are also in stock at the physical store. Motorcycle clothing may be put into storage during the winter due to space constraints, just as heavy sweaters, coats, and fall/winter hats may be put into storage during the summer.
Individual items and items on sale are also often in stock.
Red Wing and other shoes are available in the store year-round.

We will ship your order via Swiss Post within 2 days of receiving your order or payment. Orders are generally shipped together in a single package, not as separate shipments.
Most items are in stock and available for immediate delivery. For items that are not in stock, the average delivery time is 4 weeks. We will notify you the same day or the next business day if an item is out of stock. Please ask us about stock levels if you need the items urgently.
Orders and rates:
All orders are final. In the event of a delivery delay, you will be notified by email or phone. If the order has not yet been shipped, you may cancel it. Shipments to the EU:
Shipping costs via UPS, customs clearance fees, and VAT are included in the total price (displayed during the final step of checkout). There are no additional charges upon delivery (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid).
Shipping costs for Switzerland / the Principality of Liechtenstein:
Orders with a purchase value of SFr. 100 will be shipped free of charge.
For orders with a purchase value of less than SFr. 100, we charge SFr. 7.00 for standard shipping and SFr. 9.00 for priority shipping.

Return Policy:
If you return the purchased items within 14 days in perfect condition and in their original packaging, we will refund the full purchase price. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
