Equipment and Maintenance
Zeha Berlin shoes are made from high-quality materials. To ensure that you can enjoy your new shoes for a long time, each shoe box comes with care instructions. Please read them carefully. Claims resulting from improper care of the shoes cannot be accepted.
BEFORE WEARING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME
We recommend waterproofing new shoes before wearing them for the first time. This creates a waterproof layer on the inside of the material, providing protection against moisture and dirt.
Apply three light sprays, allowing the shoes to dry completely between each application to prevent staining. The shoes should not be wet.
When caring for them, don’t forget the soles and edges.
For smooth leather shoes, we recommend applying an additional cream after waterproofing. Shoe polish protects the leather and keeps it shiny on the outside.
Please note:
PUTTING ON AND TAKING OFF SHOES PROPERLY
You should always use a shoehorn when putting on shoes. This prevents damage to the material and thus extends the shoe's lifespan.
Shoes should be removed by hand. When taking off your shoes, never pull on the heel. This damages the back of the shoe and causes it to wear out.
TAKE BREAKS AND STAY HYDRATED
Leather is a natural material that is exposed to the elements and mechanical wear and tear.
We therefore recommend using cedar or beech wood shoe trees during breaks. Shoe trees smooth out creases and help the shoes dry.
Wet shoes should be dried immediately with a soft cloth and stuffed with paper towels or newspapers. This absorbs the moisture and helps the shoes retain their shape. Then let them dry slowly at room temperature.
Never expose your shoes to direct heat (heaters, fireplaces, etc.). Heat makes the leather brittle and dries it out beyond repair.
Also keep the shoes out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
CARE OF LEATHER SOLES
The leather on the sole is naturally resistant to abrasion. Once worn, it naturally compacts and becomes water-repellent. However, no other leather in the shoe is subjected to as much stress as the sole leather. To ensure long-lasting protection, leather soles should be treated regularly with leather sole oil. This keeps the leather soles flexible and extends their lifespan.
Any loose ends of wire resulting from the manufacturing process are harmless and can be carefully removed using a flame (lighter).
REPAIRS
Shoes are subject to natural wear and tear from everyday use. Regular and thorough maintenance can delay the need for repairs. With proper care, the need for repairs can also be identified earlier. Worn heels, outsoles, toe caps, or heel linings should be replaced promptly to protect the surrounding material. We recommend consulting a professional who is familiar with repair requirements. Professional work is more consistent and of higher quality.
Free priority shipping on orders over SFr. 100. Orders are typically shipped the same day or the next business day (if ordered after 3 p.m.). Excludes Mondays (our day off).
We ship packages internationally via UPS. The total price, including shipping costs, customs duties, and VAT, will be displayed during the final step of the checkout process before you complete your purchase. All fees are already paid here in the store; nothing is due upon delivery (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid).
You can return most items for a full refund within 14 days of delivery. The prerequisite is that the items are returned in new condition (i.e., unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached, etc.). We will cover the return shipping costs if the return is due to an error on our part (you received the wrong item or a defective item, etc.).
You can expect to receive your refund within one to two weeks after the package is delivered to the post office/UPS, but in many cases, it will be faster. This timeframe includes the time it takes for us to receive your return from the carrier (1–3 business days), the time it takes for us to process your return after receipt (1 business day), and the time your bank, credit card company, Postfinance, Twint, etc., need to process our refund request (immediately up to 10 business days).
If you wish to return an item, please indicate whether you would like a refund or an exchange.
All items available for order are generally in stock and can be shipped immediately. If there are any errors, you will be notified right away.
Most, but not all, of the items featured in the online store are also in stock at the physical store. Motorcycle clothing may be put into storage during the winter due to space constraints, just as heavy sweaters, coats, and fall/winter hats may be put into storage during the summer.
Individual items and items on sale are also often in stock.
Red Wing and other shoes are available in the store year-round.

We will ship your order via Swiss Post within 2 days of receiving your order or payment. Orders are generally shipped together in a single package, not as separate shipments.
Most items are in stock and available for immediate delivery. For items that are not in stock, the average delivery time is 4 weeks. We will notify you the same day or the next business day if an item is out of stock. Please ask us about stock levels if you need the items urgently.
Orders and rates:
All orders are final. In the event of a delivery delay, you will be notified by email or phone. If the order has not yet been shipped, you may cancel it. Shipments to the EU:
Shipping costs via UPS, customs clearance fees, and VAT are included in the total price (displayed during the final step of checkout). There are no additional charges upon delivery (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid).
Shipping costs for Switzerland / the Principality of Liechtenstein:
Orders with a purchase value of SFr. 100 will be shipped free of charge.
For orders with a purchase value of less than SFr. 100, we charge SFr. 7.00 for standard shipping and SFr. 9.00 for priority shipping.

Return Policy:
If you return the purchased items within 14 days in perfect condition and in their original packaging, we will refund the full purchase price. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
