The outer fabric for our caps comes from the Magee 1866 weaving mill in Donegal, Ireland.
The family-owned business has been in operation for over 150 years and is regarded as one of the leading manufacturers of Donegal tweed. Inspired by the rugged coastal landscape, the fabrics produced there exude a distinctive vibrancy thanks to their characteristic textures and color variations.
Magee combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design. In the company’s in-house weaving mill, classic patterns such as herringbone and salt & pepper are reinterpreted in a contemporary style. Only high-quality natural fibers such as wool, linen, alpaca, and cashmere are used, ensuring comfort and durability.
Magee places particular emphasis on sustainability. The collections do not follow fleeting trends but instead focus on timeless design and materials that will stand the test of time. The brand’s philosophy is evident in every bolt of fabric: respect for nature, the preservation of artisanal traditions, and a commitment to creating fabrics that combine character and durability.
Cap shape:
The 1905 BIGBOY CAP lives up to its name—a roomier, more flexible version. Unlike our other 1920 NEWSBOY CAPS, it has no bridge, giving it a rounder shape. Its casual design combines a stiff brim with a soft crown sewn from eight panels. A decorative button on top completes the look. The outer fabric extends to the center of the brim, giving the cap its distinctive style.
Free priority shipping on orders over SFr. 100. Orders are typically shipped the same day or the next business day (if ordered after 3 p.m.). Excludes Mondays (our day off).
We ship packages internationally via UPS. The total price, including shipping costs, customs duties, and VAT, will be displayed during the final step of the checkout process before you complete your purchase. All fees are already paid here in the store; nothing is due upon delivery (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid).
You can return most items for a full refund within 14 days of delivery. The prerequisite is that the items are returned in new condition (i.e., unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached, etc.). We will cover the return shipping costs if the return is due to an error on our part (you received the wrong item or a defective item, etc.).
You can expect to receive your refund within one to two weeks after the package is delivered to the post office/UPS, but in many cases, it will be faster. This timeframe includes the time it takes for us to receive your return from the carrier (1–3 business days), the time it takes for us to process your return after receipt (1 business day), and the time your bank, credit card company, Postfinance, Twint, etc., need to process our refund request (immediately up to 10 business days).
If you wish to return an item, please indicate whether you would like a refund or an exchange.
All items available for order are generally in stock and can be shipped immediately. If there are any errors, you will be notified right away.
Most, but not all, of the items featured in the online store are also in stock at the physical store. Motorcycle clothing may be put into storage during the winter due to space constraints, just as heavy sweaters, coats, and fall/winter hats may be put into storage during the summer.
Individual items and items on sale are also often in stock.
Red Wing and other shoes are available in the store year-round.

Shipping terms:
We will ship your order via Swiss Post within 2 days of receiving your order or payment. Orders are generally shipped together in a single package, not as separate shipments.
Most items are in stock and available for immediate delivery. For items that are not in stock, the average delivery time is 4 weeks. We will notify you the same day or the next business day if an item is out of stock. Please ask us about stock levels if you need the items urgently.
Orders and rates:
All orders are final. In the event of a delivery delay, you will be notified by email or phone. If the order has not yet been shipped, you may cancel it. We reserve the right to make changes to prices, product lines, and technical specifications. All offers are subject to change. Subject to incorrect information and printing errors. Payment

MF Group / POWERPAY, as an external payment service provider, offers the "purchase on invoice" payment method. With the individual invoice, you can easily pay for your online purchase via invoice. If you choose not to pay within the specified timeframe, you will receive a monthly invoice with an order summary the following month.
Upon conclusion of the purchase agreement, POWERPAY assumes the resulting receivable and manages the corresponding payment terms. When purchasing on account, you also agree to our Terms and Conditions, which are those of POWERPAY. (powerpay.ch/de/agb).
Shipments to the EU:
Shipping costs via UPS, customs clearance fees, and VAT are included in the total price (displayed during the final step of checkout). There are no additional charges upon delivery (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid).
Shipping costs for Switzerland / the Principality of Liechtenstein:
Orders with a purchase value of SFr. 100 will be shipped free of charge.
For orders with a purchase value of less than SFr. 100, we charge SFr. 7.00 for standard shipping and SFr. 9.00 for priority shipping.

Return Policy:
If you return the purchased items within 14 days in perfect condition and in their original packaging, we will refund the full purchase price. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
Data protection:
British Parts collects and uses data for the purpose of processing orders and to make shopping as easy as possible for our loyal customers. Personal data will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
We store both open and completed orders. This information can be viewed at any time in the password-protected login area.
