The Black Cherry Excalibur 9419 is part of the Beckman collection. This collection of durable and timeless shoes is a tribute to company founder Charles Beckman and goes equally well with a suit or jeans.
THE STORY BEHIND THE STYLE:
In the early twentieth century, there were only a few dirt roads in Red Wing, Minnesota. In winter or after heavy rains, these roads became muddy and good shoes were necessary. Charles Beckman, a respected businessman, was unable to find shoes that were suitable for these conditions and his profession as a merchant, so he founded the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1905. The company is still known today for its robust yet timelessly beautiful shoes.
LEATHER:
Excalibur is a polishable semi-aniline leather, with a surface that has been finished to a medium to strong sheen. The wearing in of the shoes results in a beautiful shading of rich undertones.
Smooth-finished leathers have a polished surface that brings out the beauty and quality of the leather even better. Only the very best hides are used for the production of smooth-finished leather. The result is a beautiful, classic looking leather that is used for more elegant styles such as the Beckman Collection. To maintain this look, it requires a little more care and attention than oil-tanned leathers, so be sure to use the products recommended by Red Wing.

SIZE AND BREAK-IN OF THE SHOES
A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit snugly but comfortably on the foot, with enough room for the toes to move freely. Red Wing shoes run large, so most customers buy Red Wing shoes half a size smaller than their other shoes.
Over time, the leather upper, leather footbed and cork midsole will mold to the foot to create a custom fit.
MATERIAL AND CARE
The rugged soles, premium leather, triple stitching and welted "Goodyear Welt" construction combine to create quality shoes that will last a lifetime. It takes 230 steps to make a pair of Red Wing shoes by hand, but it only takes three steps to keep them clean, cared for and protected.

Free priority shipping from an order value of SFr. 100. Orders are usually dispatched on the same or the next working day (if ordered after 3 pm). Except Monday (our day off).
We ship parcels abroad with UPS. The complete price including shipping costs, customs duties and VAT will be displayed in the last step of the checkout before you complete your purchase. All costs are therefore already paid here in the store, nothing more is due on receipt (DDP - Delivered Duty Paid).
You can return most items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. The condition is that the items are returned as new (i.e. unworn, unwashed, with all labels etc.). We will cover the return costs if the return is due to an error on our part (you have received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You can expect to receive your refund within one to two weeks of handing over the parcel to the post office / UPS, but in many cases it will be quicker. This time frame includes the time it takes us to receive your return from the carrier (1 to 3 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 business day), and the time it takes your bank, credit card company, Postfinance, Twint, etc. to process our refund request (immediate to 10 business days).

All items that can be ordered are usually available from us and can be dispatched immediately. You will be informed immediately in the event of errors.
Most, but not all, of the items displayed in the webshop are also in stock in the store. Motorcycle clothing may be in stock in winter for space reasons, just as heavy knitwear, coats or fall/winter hats may be in stock in summer.
Individual items and items on sale are also often in stock.
Red Wing and other shoes are in the store all year round.

Most items are in stock and available for immediate delivery. For items that are not in stock, the delivery time is on average 4 weeks. You will be informed on the same or following working day if an item is not in stock. Please ask us about stock levels if the items are needed urgently.

Upon conclusion of the purchase agreement, POWERPAY assumes the resulting invoice claim and handles the corresponding payment modalities. When purchasing on account, you also accept the POWERPAY terms and conditions in addition to our own (powerpay.ch/de/agb).
Deliveries to the EU:
The shipping costs with UPS, fees for customs clearance and VAT are included in the total price (visible in the last step at checkout). There are no further costs upon receipt (DDP - Delivered Duty Paid).
Shipping costs Switzerland / Principality of Liechtenstein:
Orders with a purchase value of SFr. 100 or more will be shipped free of charge.
For orders with a purchase value less than SFr. 100, we charge SFr. 7 for Economy and SFr. 9 for Priority shipping.

Return policy:
If you return the purchased goods within 14 days in perfect condition and in the original packaging, we will refund the full purchase price. The costs for the return shipment are at your expense.
